Central Workshop

This caters to the needs of all maintenance work and fabrication jobs of the Institute and facilitates the imparting of training to the students in the Workshop Practice Course which is compulsory in the disciplines of specific courses such as Production Techniques ( Mechanical Engg), Production and Processing.

The Workshop comprises the following sections  :

Machine Shop, Welding, Electroplating, Smithy, Carpentry, Foundry, Tool Room, Meteorology, Painting, Metal Processing and Metallurgy, Automobiles, Electrical Shop, Generator fitting etc.

The Workshop also has sophisticated machines such as CNC Train Master Lathe, T-70 (HMT) and CNC Lathe.

The INSTRUMENTATION    CENTRE    provides facilities for design, development, fabrication and testing of projects concerning areas of Electronics and Instrumentation.

Some of the important Laboratory Facilities are Instrumentation Technology Lab, VLSI CAD Lab ( including number of Athlons and Software tools for Electronics Design Automation),

The centre maintains Public Address Systems, Video equipment and Cable TV, Stage light services and all modern office equipments. Ex: Video Projectors, Photo Copiers Laser Printers, Scanners.

Printing and Allied facilities such as Word Processing, Offset-Printing, Binding and Photocopying, Machines for Finishing, Cutting, Stitching, Lamination etc. and a number of Photo copiers, Color Lab, etc all are provided for students and staff.
